Entrevista com a arquiteta e artista visual Suzanne Gomide

A artista visual Suzanne Gomide trabalha com muita responsabilidade e delicadeza na composição do que nos oferece visualmente em seus quadros. Essa construção tem raízes na formação acadêmica desta arquiteta que concilia a curiosidade e a atenção aos detalhes para expressar seu mundo através de um arrojo criativo que flui através de óleo e acrílica.

1- Como você entrou para o mundo da Arte?

A arte entrou em minha vida quando ainda era muito jovem, por volta dos 12 anos, quando comecei a desenhar e observar tudo à minha volta, com um novo olhar.

Eu entrei no mundo da arte aos 25 anos, quando fiz minha primeira exposição individual em Uberlândia-Minas Gerais.

2- Qual a fonte de inspiração para você?

O ser humano e a natureza.

3- Quais são suas influências para o desenvolvimento de sua linguagem?

Dentre os artistas contemporâneos que exercem influência e me inspiram muito nesse processo, posso citar: Noemi Saffir(israelense), Alpay Efe(alemão) e Jimmi Law(Sul africano), Daria Callie, Dario Desiena e alguns outros...

4- Fale sobre seu processo criativo. Como chega a inspiração para você?

A inspiração me chega de diversas maneiras...

Às vezes, durante a madrugada; outras vezes quando passo horas no ateliê e me conecto com Deus em busca de respostas; outras vezes quando ouço uma música que toca minha alma; às vezes quando vejo obras dos grandes mestres e viajo no tempo...

5- Qual mensagem você passa através de sua arte?

A mensagem que busco passar através de meu trabalho é a da possibilidade de se ver um mundo diferente, a partir de um olhar diferente para a vida...

Meu foco sempre foi e será o ser humano. A mais bela e complexa criação de Deus.

Sendo ainda mais precisa, o olhar do ser humano, que vejo como uma ponte entre nossa alma e o mundo externo. Os olhos funcionam como um filtro... Por isso, é tão importante a forma como vemos as pessoas e a vida. Ela que te fará perceber e sentir, através das lentes de seu olhar, o bem e o mal.

Podemos fazer uma leitura do ser humano através de seus olhos...

Portanto, minha mensagem é...

Busque a essência no ser humano, cuide da forma como você vê e enxerga a vida, pois ela flui através do olhar.

6- Como você vê o momento cultural nos dias de hoje? A arte cumpre com seu papel de refletir a sociedade?

Acredito que esse não tem sido o melhor momento no que diz respeito à cultura… O ser humano tem passado por tantos desafios, especialmente por conta da grande influência das redes sociais na vida das pessoas, que algumas coisas mais importantes, foram sendo deixadas para um segundo plano…

E, realmente, não sei se a arte tem cumprido seu papel de refletir a sociedade, pelo menos não na intensidade como acontecia antigamente…

7- Quais foram os principais desafios que você vivenciou ao longo de sua carreira?

O maior desafio sempre foi divulgar a minha arte.

O fato de eu viver em uma cidade do interior, onde a arte já não é não valorizada como era antigamente, onde quase não acontecem exposições e não se tem muitos espaços voltados para a arte, dificulta um pouco. Hoje, após ter feito algumas exposições em São Paulo, consegui um pouco mais de visibilidade, o que tem me ajudado, e muito, nesse processo de divulgação do meu trabalho...

8- Qual mensagem você gostaria de deixar para os amantes de arte?

Nunca desistam de visitar exposições de arte, físicas ou virtuais, ver trabalhos fantásticos de artistas que conseguem tocar fundo nossa alma, nos mostrar a vida através de um olhar totalmente diferente e desafiador e nos proporcionar viagens fantásticas, por esse mundo tão fascinante e belo, que é o das artes.

Today we talked to Suzanne Gomide!

Visual artist Suzanne Gomide works with great responsibility and delicacy in the composition of what she offers visually in her paintings. This construction has its roots in the academic education of this architect who combines curiosity and attention to details to express her world through a creative boldness that flows through oil and acrylic.

1- How did you get into the art world? Art came into my life when I was still very young, around 12 years old, when I started to draw and observe everything around me, with a new look. I entered the art world at the age of 25, when I had my first solo exhibition in Uberlândia-Minas Gerais.

2- What is the source of inspiration for you? The human being and nature.

3- What are your influences for the development of your language? Among the contemporary artists who exert influence and inspire me a lot in this process, I can mention: Noemi Saffir (Israeli), Alpay Efe (German) and Jimmi Law (South African), Daria Callie, Dario Desiena and some others ...

4- Talk about your creative process. How does inspiration come to you? Inspiration comes to me in many ways ... Sometimes, during the night; other times when I spend hours in the studio and connect with God in search of answers; other times when I hear music that touches my soul; sometimes when I see works by the great masters and travel back in time ...

5- What message do you pass through your art? The message I seek to convey through my work is the possibility of seeing a different world, from a different perspective of life ... My focus has always been and will always be the human being. The most beautiful and complex creation of God. Even more precise, the look of the human being, which I see as a bridge between our soul and the external world. The eyes act as a filter ... That is why the way we see people and life is so important. Life will make you perceive and feel, through the lens of your gaze, good and evil. We can make a reading of the human being through the eyes ... So my message is ... Look for the essence in the human being, take care of the way see life, because it flows through the look.

6- How do you see the cultural moment these days? Does art fulfill its role of reflecting society? I believe that this has not been the best moment in terms of culture… The human being has been through so many challenges, especially due to the great influence of social networks in people's lives, that some more important things have been left to a second plan… And, really, I don't know if art has fulfilled its role of reflecting society, at least not in the intensity as it used to happen ...

7- What were the main challenges that you experienced throughout your career? The biggest challenge has always been to promote my art. The fact that I live in a city in the countryside, where art is not as valued as it was in the past, where there are almost no exhibitions and there are not many spaces dedicated to art, makes it a little difficult. Today, after having done some exhibitions in São Paulo, I got a little more visibility, which has helped me in this process of disseminating my work ...

8- What message would you like to leave for art lovers? Never give up visiting art exhibitions, physical or virtual, see fantastic works by artists who can deeply touch our soul, show us life through a totally different and challenging look and provide us with fantastic trips, through this fascinating and beautiful world, which is the arts.
